The Adobe Acrobat Pro FAQ says :

"Is the Acrobat XI Family 64-bit compliant?

Yes, Acrobat is a 32-bit application that can run and has been tested on 64-bit versions of Microsoft® Windows 7 and 8, Windows XP, and Windows Server® 2003 and 2008." The Faq also says: "

How does Acrobat XI work with Microsoft Office 2010 for Windows?

Adobe developed Acrobat XI to work seamlessly from within Microsoft Office 2010 for Windows. With Acrobat XI, you can:

But, I HAVE A 64 BIT VERSION OF OFFICE

I can tell you for a fact that:

1.) Adobe Acrobat Pro XI WILL NOT WORK SEEMLESSLY WITH OFFICE IF YOU ARE USING A 64 BIT VERSION.

THERE IS A LONG TERM BUG IN THE PROGRAM THAT HAS BEEN KNOW FOR VERSION 9, VERSION 10, AND NOW VERSION 11.

BASED UPON THE FAQ SECTION, I PURCHASED THE FULL ACROBAT XI PRO.

BUT AFTER THE PURCHASE I FOUND OUT THAT ACROBAT XI HAS NEVER WORKED SEEMLESSLY WITH OFFICE 64 BIT VERSIONS GOING BACK TO VERSION 9 (OR EARLIER).

An error is generated when you click the "Mail icon" from inside of Acrobat that says "No default mail client......"

And you cannot send an email from Acrobat IV as the FAQ says that this works seemlessly.....really?

the error is that Acrobat is 32 bit and Office is 64 bit.

You can run Office 32 bit, but why would I be forced to run a 32 bit app on my new i7 computer because Adobe cannot make a 64 bit program or make their 32 bit old code work with 64 bit Office?

If Adobe has a patch for this decades old problem they did not fix in Version 9, or Version 10 and now Version 11, please let me know so I can use my computer and all of its horsepower with 64 bit applications.

Thanks, I really need a fix and I dont think hacking my registry or downgrading my computer to support Adobe Acrobat Pro XI is a solution.

Getting out of Acrobat and having to find the file after saving it and dragging it over to outlook is not a workaroud as Acrobat Pro XI is used all day long where I work....just want to make it work as the Adobe FAQ claims to say Acrobat Pro XI is suppose to work. Not asking too much?
