Not sure if this is the correct forum for this. If not, I'd appreciate any suggestions where to post.
I'm looking for a way to insert PDF technical drawings in MS Word documents that will themselves be converted to PDFs. The drawings are all vectors and text, and I'd like to keep them that way when inserting into Word DOCs so that lines and curves will remain clear and small fonts will remain legible regardless of the sampling used when converting from DOC to PDF. I'm hoping that retaining vectors and fonts rather than everything getting rasterized will also help keep file size manageable. I am using Acorbat 7 Pro, and have not found a way to export a PDF to SVG or EPS, or any other vector format that can be imported into a Word DOC.
I have tried Insert>Object>Create from file in Word, but it appears that the PDF gets rasterized along the way, and the quality is atrocious.
I have also tried using Inkscape to open the PDF and then save as SVG, but the results are not satisfactory.
Any advice will be much appreciated.
