I'm trying to automate a simple task using Action Wizard: Tools > Print Production > Convert Colors > Coversion Attributes > Coversion Profile > Dot Gain 30% > Save > Close. I need to do this to thousands of files but when I try to create an action, the "Print Production" tool isn't available in the list. I have updated my software to 10.1.6 in hopes it would fix this bug, to no avail. Additionally there is no one that I have have seen that has documented this on any of the internet forums.
Does anyone have know if this is simply a user error or if there is a bug? Does anyone have any work arounds for this. Why make Print Production available in Tools if you can't use them in the Action Wizard?
