Why do I receive "Cannot write to specified print file" message?

When I print from Framemaker 8 using the Adobe PDF print driver, I receive the message "Cannot write to specified print file."  And I'm not able to generate a ps file.  Why is that?  What could be the problem?

I am able to print to another print driver - for my office's color printer- without any problems.  So I guess I don't need the Adobe PDF print driver, but that is the one others on my documentation team use- just wondering why it doesn't work for me now (though it used to).
