The user requirement is to develop PDF forms (around 50 forms) which allowed saving data using Adobe Reader. I implemented the forms using LiveCycle designer and enabled them for additional features using Acrobat in order for the free Adobe Reader to save and submit the form to Servlet for processing. The issue is the limitation of 500 named users, and we have total user population from 10000 - 20000 users. The customer is not interested to purchase LiveCycle Reader Extension license because of high prices. There is one way to avoid the licenses by designing the forms in Adobe Acrobat and using Adobe Reader XI to fill the forms and save the data (not supported for LivCycle forms only Acrobat forms). This solution has one issue because the requirement to have expandable fields based on content (user entries) and adjust the text formatting automatically like Word processor. I am not able to simulate this scenario in Acrobat forms only works for me using LiveCycle designer with flowed subforms. Can someone help me to do this in Acrobat or suggested another solution.
