Hey Guys,
I have just upgraded from Server 2003 to 2008 R2, Im running an application which uses distiller to create PDF's from .ps. After the upgrade this takes an extra 1-2 minutes each time and hangs the application while its being created as the application waits for it to finish.
I have checked the .ps creation is nearly instant, then looks to do nothing for a while before creating the PDF.
After checking a few things i think i have nailed down the culprite to adobe distiller.
When I open Distiller, it opens the splash page and hangs on Checking fonts, for about the same time the application hangs. I have removed all font location from the configuration but it still hangs on opening.
We are using Distiller 10.0.0.396
Has anybody else seen this issue?
