I'm using Windows 7 Professional, SP 1 and Adobe Acrobat X Standard, version 10.1.7
This problem occurs in a data modeling tool: ERwin release 9
When I try to print to PDF, I select Adobe PDF from the Print menu and click Preferences. On the Adobe PDF Setting tab of the winspool Document Properties dialog, I observe that the Adobe PDF Page Size is blank and the drop-down has multiple blank lines. When I try to print a large diagram on one page it is compressed to 8.37 X 11.79. I think that is A4. Computer Associates, the developer of ERwin claims this is a Windows/Adobe issue. Has anyone seen similar misbehavior printing to Adobe PDF in another application?
I experimented with a large document in Excel and there was no problem.
I tried to experiment with a large document in Visio, but when I slected Adobe PDF the Preferences button opened a control for my last selected printer prior to selecting Adobe!
I think my ERwinn problem is specific to ERwin, but I'm beginning to suspect there is a related problem for other applications.
