On OS X 10.8.4 and Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.1.7 when I open a PDF and then select Edit>Advanced Search focus moves away from the PDF but the advanced search window does not appear.
Pulling down the Windows menu I see that there are two windows listed, one for the PDF document and one marked Search. There is a check mark on Search, but as I say, no window is available. Using the App Exposé gesture (3finger swipe down) shows that there are indeed two windows but the Search window is zero size. (See the uploaded screenshot below.)
So far I have tried the following
- Rebooting
- Reinstalling Adobe Acrobat and re-updating to 10.1.7
- Deleting ~/Library/Saved Application State/com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.savedState/windows.plist
None of these have helped.
Here is the screenshot in the App Expose mode. Notice the "Search" title for a window center, bottom, along with windows for two PDF documents.
