I attempted to update Adobe Acrobat X Pro this morning to no avail. After using the automatic updater and then also downloading directly from update site, received same notice twice: "The installation failed. The Installer encoungtered an erorr that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." I've never had serious issues with Adobe, but was particularly keen on this update because I've been having trouble with "read out loud" feature and thought the update might help with that. Running 10.8.4 Mac OSX. Any suggestions? I don't have the original software suite to uninstall and re-install. Thank you.
