When I print reports from our database software (filemaker pro 11, windows 8), all fonts, except for the italics, are rasterized and printed as bit maps instead of maintaining their vector characterisation. This behavior results in large and poor quality file sizes. I have searched the web for any solutions to any problems that resemble mine, but I can't find any. I have checked the distiller to ensure that it can see my fonts, and it does; I have clicked to download any fonts that adobe pdf can't find; and I have even selected for it to thrown an error if adobe pdf can't find the specified font - no error gets thrown.
What do I need to do. Adobe X works great, but not Adobe XI
