Share for Review Issues after upgrading to X from 8

We use Share for Review to a network folder location and also to Sharepoint.  Most users have Adobe 8 installed.  If a user upgrades to X, then we see odd behavior to already published comments by the user.

If the upgraded user made previous comments to a document while in 8, the comments are deleted and no longer exist.

If the upgraded user never made comments to a document while in 8 and made new comments and published after upgrading to Adobe X, there are no problems, even if they go back to a machine that has Adobe 8 installed.

It appears to be backwards compatible as far as making your initial comments in X.

But if you made comments first in 8 and then upgrade to X, it overwrites and deletes the xml file.

We tested by copying the xml file and having the user on 8 upgrade to 10 and then edit the document.  It was overwritten.

We then replaced the xml file with the original and had the user on 10 upgrade the document again.  All comments by the user previous were there and the user could edit, publish in X and no problems reported.

This happens on the first edit after already editing in 8.

Bug -- how to proceed?

Thanks.
