Hello.
I'm trying to create a PDF that contains embedded video, but the resulting PDF ends up with very poor quality video. I'm creating the PDF via InDesign, but I've also tried placing the video into a PDF video Acrobat Pro X. Same results. No matter what I do, the resulting PDF has extremely poor quality video embedded, to the point of it being unusable for client work. I see no documentation anywhere for choosing the "quality" of video inserted into a PDF.
Source video details
- video 1 (page 1 of PDF): 640 x 360 px .mov (H.264, 29.97 FPS, 2500+ kbits/s)
- video 2 (page 2 of PDF): 640 x 360 px .flv (H.264, 29.97 FPS, 2500+ kbits/s)
Other details
- PDF created using Adobe InDesign CS5.5 (latest updates applied).
- Attempted creating PDF from various different machines (all running various versions of OS X, all running CS5.5).
- Videos are placed into InDesign @ 100% actual size, PDFs are set to view at 100% actual size (so, there is no scaling going on the would be causing the video to display so poorly).
I've included sample creative files and resulting PDF, which can be downloaded from this link:

If anyone has any suggestions as to why the embedded video looks so terrible, it'd be much apprecated.
Thanks,
Kristin.
