I want to present PDFs as spreads (2 pages at a time) that maximally fill the user's screen, but keep all menus and tool bars visible. Setting the document to open in Full Screen mode is almost acceptable if the user selects NO (when the warning message comes up), but the problem is the PDF does not maximally fill the screen. It is slightly smaller. If the user selects YES, the PDF may be shown as single pages, depending on the user's preferences which can override my settings.
What I'd like is for the document to open in 2-up mode, and to fill the user's screen. This can be done manually by pressing the green maximise button.
So, how do I tell Adobe Reader to press the green button while it opens a PDF? Is that possible?
