Hi All,
I am having issues installing Acrobat on a number of PC's.
Below is what i have tried so far as well as the error itself.
Any Ideas other then reformatting computers would be muchly appreciated.
So far i have,
# Made sure all tasks as well as installation are conducted as administrator
# Ensured that the OS Requirements are met hardware wise.
# Rebooted multiple times as well as with selective startup (disabling non essential services and software running)
# Followed these steps noted here http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/errors-exit-code-6-exit.html
sfc /scannow command did find some errors with "Cannot repair member file [l:22{11}]"Utilman.exe"" being the main culprit.
I have been unable to fix this by either running sfc /snannow numerous times, with chkdsk or manually.
# Run The Adobe Uninstaller/cleaning script and rebooted numerous times
# Checked permission and taken ownership of reg keys that are noted in the error.
The key i could find that i believe to be the issue being HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\MICROSOFT\Internet_Explorer\Toolbar
# uninstalled and reinstalled all windows updates
- 0 fatal error(s), 4 error(s), 3 warning(s)
