Using Acrobat XI, How do I correct margins, or keep original margins when converting PDF to Word?

I am using Acrobat XI to convert a PDF document to Word.  It is a very simple process.  However, the Word document has different margins then the PDF orginal document.  There is approximatley 1/2 inch different between the original and the Word document.  This puts the margins very near the edge of the Word printout.  How can this be corrected?
