Same problem with Acrobat 9 and newly installed Acrobat XI. I have Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Here is the problem:
I have a Word 2010 file with email hyperlinks. Clicking the hyperlinks in Word opens my email client (not a common one: Becky!).
When I create a pdf from the Word file in question, and I click on an email hyperlink, I get a message that my email client is not installed correctly, and then, my status bar fills up with more and more Internet Explorer tabs (I use Firefox!). I have to shut down my computer to stop the spawning.
If anyone knows, why does this happen, and how can I avoid it.
