How do I splice one document into another so that page one of one document follows page 1 of the 2nd

I have 2 documents that I need to splice together.

I know how to add one document to another, but heres the catch.

I need page 1 of Document A to follow page 1 of Document B

An page 2 of Document A to follow page 2 of Document B

Any way to do this? I have Acrobat X, InDesign, etc. Any thoughts?
